Most planet models are static: eight balls on eight sticks. This one is geared. Build the orrery from 697 blocks, turn the crank, and the whole system rotates the way it actually does, with the inner planets sweeping round while the outer ones barely shift. That difference is the entire point, and it is the thing a diagram cannot teach.

Why it works

It moves, and moving is the lesson. A geared mechanism drives every planet from one hand crank. No batteries, no motor, nothing to run out.
697 pieces of build time. Long enough to be a real project, structured enough not to become a pile of loose parts.
Finished, it is a display object. This ends up on a shelf rather than back in the box.
Large-piece design. Parts are sized to be handled rather than tweezered.
Standard ABS blocks. The clutch and tolerances behave the way you expect.

Return policy

Here at creativeby.design our customers are important to us and we want you to be happy with your purchase.

It’s important that you inspect your goods as soon as possible after they have been delivered.
If you are unhappy with an item and the item is not faulty, you must return it in its original condition - the condition in which it was sold - and in its original packaging, within 30 days after receiving it. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods. Within 7 days after receiving the returned goods, we will issue a refund covering the full price of the purchased goods. Refunds are issued via the payment method used when purchasing the goods.

Prior to returning any item, please contact us and we will guide you through our simple return process.

GOODS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT: If an item is damaged in transit, you must contact us within 3 business days after receiving the damaged item. We will make all due arrangements to either send you a replacement or issue you a refund depending on your preference.

RETURN OF FAULTY GOODS: If you have received a faulty item, please contact us and we will assist you through the process. Time frames for refunds on faulty goods may vary depending on products.

ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE RETURNED: In the interests of hygiene, certain items cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened unless the item is faulty. In addition, all custom objects cannot be returned.
