A bud caught halfway open, lit from inside the fold.

This is a piece of furniture that happens to give light, and at this price that is the right way round to think about it. The form is a bud mid-opening, built in fibreglass over a steel frame so the curves can be that thin and that continuous without visible structure. Light comes from within the fold rather than from a visible bulb, which is why it reads as a sculpture in a lit room and as a light source in a dark one. Stepless dimming takes it from a low glow to full output without steps.

Why it works

Sculpture first. Switched off in daylight it still justifies the floor space, which almost no floor lamp manages.
Fibreglass over steel. The only sensible way to get shell curves this clean at this scale, and it stays rigid.
Stepless dimming. Set it anywhere between ambient and functional. No fixed levels to compromise on.
Hidden source. No visible bulb and no glare, just light coming out of the form.
Antique copper finish. Warm and slightly aged, so it sits with wood and brass rather than fighting them.

Return policy

Here at creativeby.design our customers are important to us and we want you to be happy with your purchase.

It’s important that you inspect your goods as soon as possible after they have been delivered.
If you are unhappy with an item and the item is not faulty, you must return it in its original condition - the condition in which it was sold - and in its original packaging, within 30 days after receiving it. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods. Within 7 days after receiving the returned goods, we will issue a refund covering the full price of the purchased goods. Refunds are issued via the payment method used when purchasing the goods.

Prior to returning any item, please contact us and we will guide you through our simple return process.

GOODS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT: If an item is damaged in transit, you must contact us within 3 business days after receiving the damaged item. We will make all due arrangements to either send you a replacement or issue you a refund depending on your preference.

RETURN OF FAULTY GOODS: If you have received a faulty item, please contact us and we will assist you through the process. Time frames for refunds on faulty goods may vary depending on products.

ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE RETURNED: In the interests of hygiene, certain items cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened unless the item is faulty. In addition, all custom objects cannot be returned.
