Hand-stitched, so it opens flat and stays there.

The binding is traditional Chinese thread sewing, done by hand, with the stitches left visible along the spine. That is not only a look: a sewn book lies flat across the gutter, which is the single thing that matters most when you are drawing across a double page. The leftover length of rope is deliberate too, and works as a bookmark. 160 sheets of blank paper at 27 by 19.3cm, which is generous enough to be a proper working book rather than a notebook you finish in a month.

Why it works

It lies flat. Hand-sewn binding, no glued spine fighting you across a spread.
320 blank pages. No rules, no dots, no margins. 160 sheets of 80g paper.
Choose your paper. Kraft for pencil, charcoal and gouache. Off-white for ink and fineliner.
Substantial covers. 300g kraft, 250g black cloth-texture, or 198g black. Heavy enough to draw against on your knee.
The rope is the bookmark. A small detail, but you notice it every time you open the book.
Sold in boxed sets too. Five or eight-book boxes for studios, workshops or gifting.

Return policy

Here at creativeby.design our customers are important to us and we want you to be happy with your purchase.

It’s important that you inspect your goods as soon as possible after they have been delivered.
If you are unhappy with an item and the item is not faulty, you must return it in its original condition - the condition in which it was sold - and in its original packaging, within 30 days after receiving it. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods. Within 7 days after receiving the returned goods, we will issue a refund covering the full price of the purchased goods. Refunds are issued via the payment method used when purchasing the goods.

Prior to returning any item, please contact us and we will guide you through our simple return process.

GOODS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT: If an item is damaged in transit, you must contact us within 3 business days after receiving the damaged item. We will make all due arrangements to either send you a replacement or issue you a refund depending on your preference.

RETURN OF FAULTY GOODS: If you have received a faulty item, please contact us and we will assist you through the process. Time frames for refunds on faulty goods may vary depending on products.

ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE RETURNED: In the interests of hygiene, certain items cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened unless the item is faulty. In addition, all custom objects cannot be returned.
