The shade is real veneer, sliced fine enough that the LED behind it turns the grain into the pattern. Off, it is a matte wooden drum. On, the whole surface warms to amber and the grain lines show as darker streaks. The design borrows from new Chinese style, which mostly means it is quiet: no visible hardware, no contrast trim, nothing competing with the material.

Why it works

The grain is the design. Every shade is slightly different, because the veneer is.
Warm without being dim. Covers 10 to 15 square metres, so it lights a dining table properly rather than just marking it.
Two diameters. 45cm over a small table or a bedside, 60cm when it needs to anchor a room.
Adjustable drop. 1.2 metres of hanging wire, shortened to suit your ceiling.
LED and low voltage. Efficient, long-lived, and running at 36V or less.

Return policy

Here at creativeby.design our customers are important to us and we want you to be happy with your purchase.

It’s important that you inspect your goods as soon as possible after they have been delivered.
If you are unhappy with an item and the item is not faulty, you must return it in its original condition - the condition in which it was sold - and in its original packaging, within 30 days after receiving it. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods. Within 7 days after receiving the returned goods, we will issue a refund covering the full price of the purchased goods. Refunds are issued via the payment method used when purchasing the goods.

Prior to returning any item, please contact us and we will guide you through our simple return process.

GOODS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT: If an item is damaged in transit, you must contact us within 3 business days after receiving the damaged item. We will make all due arrangements to either send you a replacement or issue you a refund depending on your preference.

RETURN OF FAULTY GOODS: If you have received a faulty item, please contact us and we will assist you through the process. Time frames for refunds on faulty goods may vary depending on products.

ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE RETURNED: In the interests of hygiene, certain items cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened unless the item is faulty. In addition, all custom objects cannot be returned.
